GRUR and the University of Luxembourg (uni.lu) are jointly organising the GRUR/uni.lu Joint Conference, a one-day event which will take place on Wednesday, 5 June 2024 on-site at premises of the CJEU in Luxembourg.

The topic of the conference, which will be chaired by Prof. Dr. Martin Stierle from the University of Luxembourg, is "Intellectual Property and the European Courts".

Our morning session "UPC - the first year" will take a closer look at the new Unitary Patent Court established in June 2023 and its jurisdiction´s results so far. We are happy to announce that Dr Klaus Grabinski, President of the Court of Appeal of the UPC, will open the event as keynote speaker.

Our afternoon session "CJEU - current issues and developments in EU IP law" will focus on recent case law of the Court of Just and the General Court but may  also look beyond and present a number of IP topics which may arise before the Courts or legislators in the foreseeable future.

The programme is currently under construction, so please bear with us!
